In the NFL, we went 4-2 +4.35 to take the season record to 11-5 +12.78 and an excellent ROI of 32%. Let’s keep that run going!

These 2 great results were tempered by a poor week for our Football model, collecting on just 6 of 21 bets.

Our model bets on either the home team or the away team in the Match Odds model and this week we were undone by 9 draws, including 5 goalless matches which is a massive number. Our model is generally positive on goals so to have such a high prevalance of goalless matches was very unusual.

For the week, 21 bets in total for a 6-15 record and a loss of around 15 points.

As always, plenty more to come this week so click here for more information on our Football package.

In the Golf, the Tour Championship threw up a lot of surprise contenders, with Schaufelee winning and Henley. Finau and Kisner all very prominent. Our selection Webb Simpson was three clear one point, so it was a frustrating week as he fell away. Garcia started poorly but played well thereafter to sneak into a share of tenth. It is definitely an event to avoid the big names, with only Justin Thomas making a case for the FedEx Cup. He was excellent all year and has stepped up to the very top.

In Europe, Coetzee was the bet of the week and could not quite ever catch Bjerregaard on the final day. We suffered a mini disaster as Coetzee attacked on the last to hope for a miracle and hit his ball in the water. He tumbled out of the places when looking like he would finish second, so it was a week where we were in a very good position at times but it turned on a few shots.
