Brazilian Serie A:

The 31st round of the Brazilian top flight rounds off tonight as Sao Paulo make the tough trip to Rio to face off against mid table Fluminense. With no league win since mid September the pressure is building on Sao Paulo to pick up points as they sit just one place outside the relegation zone! A crushing home defeat to their rivals Santos on Thursday evening did nothing to appease the worries of the Sao Paulo faithful and with just one point separating them from the drop zone they’ll be aware that every performance from here on in matters. It’s been the attack of Sao Paulo that has let them down in large parts of the campaign this season as they’ve scored just 28 league goals in 30 fixtures, a damming stat for a team aiming to push for top four at the start of the campaign. Top goalscorer C.Cueva was on the bench against Santos due to a groin strain and the Peruvian midfielder is looking doubtful for another start this evening. Fluminenese are in that stage of the season where they don’t really have anything to play for, they sit in ninth place and are too far adrift of the Copa Libertedores qualification spots. The main thing that will motivate Fluminense is the chance to push Sao Paulo who are one of the most hated sides in Brazil towards a shock relegation. This will be a close fought tie as Sao Paulo look to play on the counter attack as they desperately try to keep a clean sheet knowing that they don’t have the fire power to score two goals should Fluminense get any kind of breakthrough.

Bet recommendation: 2.3 units Under 2.50 goals @ 1.60 Bet365

Argentine Primera B Metropolitana

A bet on the lower end of the quality spectrum in South America this evening as we’ll be taking a look at the Argentine third division! We’ll be taking a look at the fixture between UAI Urquiza and Acassuso. UAI will be aiming to bounce back from their miserable 4-1 defeat away to Comunicaciones last week in the week with a stronger performance this evening. The visitors Acassuso have picked up just six points from their opening six games scoring six in the process which leaves them just three places above bottom of the table side Colegiales. Non of Urquiza’s home games this season have gone over 2.50 goals whilst just one of Acassuso’s games have as they beat Deportivo Espanol by two goals to one. With the lack of goal scoring prowess possessed by both teams I think under 2.50 goals should be priced around the 1.35 mark not the 1.50 on offer.

Bet recommendation: 2.1 units on Under 2.50 goals @ 1.50 Bet365
