Sandown – Value Bet

Friday December 2

Ballyandy has been wonderfully consistent in his 8 runs to date. In his four wins, he has beaten a combined total of 53 horses, and his biggest losing margin is 4 lengths. That includes two narrow defeats to the top class Moon Racer who is favourite for the Supreme Novice Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. That puts Ballyandy in the high 140s in terms of my ratings, while none of the opposition today can get close to that yet. The conditions of today’s contest mean that Ballyandy gets a handy weigh advantage compared to the main dangers and I am confident that this horse will win. It is a strong betting race and there will be confidence behind some of the other promising types, so wait for Betfair SP.

2.25 Sandown (Race 4), Ballyandy, 2.50 Point Win at Betfair SP.
