Race to finish bottom

Swansea boosted their chances of survival with a huge win at Anfield on Saturday, but they’re not out of trouble yet by any means.

Paul Clement’s side are now 15/2 to finish bottom despite their abysmal run of 14 losses from 22 games this season.

Incredibly, though, their new boss has lifted them out of the drop zone.

David Moyes has had no such luck with Sunderland. Rumours continue to circulate that Patrick Vieira could replace the Scotsman at the helm, which is summed up by the Black Cats’ odds.

Sunderland are now favourites to finish bottom at 11/10, as they’re already three points off safety and face Tottenham next.

Meanwhile, Hull are at 13/8, as with their injury problems it’s hard to see them pulling it together.

It’s not going to get any easier for them either as their next league game is against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The best value is in Crystal Palace, who are at 11/1 to finish bottom. Sam Allardyce seems to be having little to no effect on their fortunes, and although for a long time they didn’t look like candidates for relegation, they’re only a point off the bottom and in 18th place.
