Europa League 4/1 accumulator – Southampton to win in Prague?

Published by on November 24, 2016

Southampton’s doubters wouldn’t have expected them to do half as well as they have done in the Europa League.

The Saints are in yet another season of transition, as is becoming the norm given the rate they lose players and managers almost every summer.

Yet, Claude Puel is masterminding a decent campaign, and his side currently sit second in Group K before facing Sparta Prague tonight.

Buoyed by that famous 2-1 win over Inter Milan in their last outing, the Saints are definitely in with a shout in Czechia.

That makes one acca look good value for money: Southampton, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Ajax all to win in 90 minutes is at 4/1 with SkyBet, the latter two both top of their respective groups.

Yet, if Southampton are to pull off another result, they will have to do it without injured captain Jose Fonte, who has been key to their success defensively this season.

BBC Sport report that Dusan Tadic also hasn’t travelled, but James Ward-Prowse is back after missing the weekend’s draw with Liverpool.
