Ecuador vs Venezuela

We have an entertaining game from the South American World Cup qualifiers this evening as Ecuador host a struggling Venezuela side. Ecuador will be looking to strengthen their grip on a qualifying spot which they’ve worked so hard to get. With 17 points from their eleven games this far it’s hard to see how Ecuador don’t qualify especially with their sensational home form which has seen then beat Chile in the early parts of October and then just five days later they pulled off a magnificent 2-2 draw away to Bolivia. Ecuador’s strength certainly lies with their attacking power as their goalscoring record is bettered by only Brazil and Uruguay. Their opponents tonight have had a miserable time during their campaign and have picked up just five points with three of those coming at home to Bolivia who have lost every away game since the beginning of time it would seem! Venezuela will have to go and attack Ecuador because they’re just not good enough to sit back and defend so I feel that this will be an open game!
