Arsenal vs Sunderland
Sunderland will be looking forward to wrapping up a miserable campaign this weekend, but first they must head to the Emirates on Tuesday night and do their best to avoid a hammering. Arsenal are odds on to win by three or more goals, which tells you everything you need to know about the Black Cats’ fortunes.
The only real value is in who will get the goals for the Gunners. Top scorer Alexis Sanchez is at 9/4 to score first, which makes him the favourite, while Olivier Giroud is another of the better prices at 5/2. Pockets of Arsenal fans are threatening a boycott ahead of the game, but if they do stay away, they should miss one of their team’s easier games of the season.
Manchester City vs West Brom
Manchester City to win by two goals is at 3/1, as West Brom might not be the walkover many will be expecting at this stage of the season. The Baggies held out well against Chelsea on Friday night before succumbing to a late strike from Michy Batshuayi.
Sergio Aguero’s future remains uncertain but for now, he’s the obvious choice for the first goalscorer at 5/2. City’s last two games have seen them score a combined seven goals, so we’re backing over 2.5 goals and a home win.
