Willian has been a hit ever since he arrived in the Premier League.

The Brazilian was one of Chelsea’s few players to shine last season, and while they have had a mixed start to Antonio Conte’s reign, he’s still looked in decent form.

The Blues’ Player of the Year has now revealed the one player he takes inspiration from – but fans won’t be pleased to hear it’s a legend of one of their London rivals.

Willian has named Arsenal icon Thierry Henry as his football idol, as per the Evening Standard – because of the “beautiful” goals he scored in English football.

Chelsea’s star man is no stranger to the odd screamer himself, but it’s no wonder he’d like to follow in the footsteps of Henry – who himself started out as a winger before being moved higher up the pitch by Arsene Wenger.

“In the Premier League he was one of the best players,” Willian said.

“The way he played, he scored so many goals – so beautiful goals.”

Henry scored just the 175 Premier League goals, and that’ll take some surpassing.
