UCL Matchday 5 – Wed, November 22

Published by on November 22, 2017

The big names are out in force tonight.

Juventus vs Barcelona

Fresh off the back of a surprise defeat to Sampdoria, Juventus will be looking to bounce back. Although Barca were held by Olympiacos in their most recent Champions League outing, they've generally been pretty free-scoring of late. A win will see the Blaugrana top the group.
Recommended bet: Barcelona to win at 7/5

PSG vs Celtic

It almost goes without saying that it's been another miserable year for Celtic in the Champions League. It was 5-0 when the two sides met at Celtic Park and Brendan Rodgers will be praying it doesn't get any worse than that at the Parc des Princes.
Recommended bet: Neymar and Kylian Mbappe both to score at 11/8

Qarabag vs Chelsea

Chelsea put four past West Brom at the weekend and their fans should be able to look forward to another big win here. If he isn't rested, Eden Hazard could put in another masterclass just as he did at the Hawthorns.
Recommended bet: Chelsea to win by three or more goals at 9/4

Atletico Madrid vs Roma

Atleti are favourites, but you have to go back nine games to find the last time they scored more than one, so it's not likely to be comprehensive. Antoine Griezmann has now gone eight games without a goal and was booed by some sections of the Atleti crowd against Real Madrid, so Diego Simeone won't exactly be relying on him.
Recommended bet: Atletico Madrid and under 2.5 goals at 11/4

Anderlecht vs Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich put in a near-perfect display against Augsburg at the weekend. Robert Lewandowski has now hit 13 goals in 12 games this season and he's a pretty safe bet to get off the mark in Belgium against Group B's basement club.
Recommended bet: Robert Lewandowksi first goalscorer at 9/4

FC Basel vs Manchester United

Manchester United got back to scoring four against Newcastle on Saturday, thanks in large part to the return of Paul Pogba. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now available, Jose Mourinho's attack is truly frightening and the Swiss side should be no match for them.
Recommended bet: Manchester United to win at 1/1

Sporting vs Olympiacos

Sporting are still in contention to qualify if they win here, whereas Olympiacos don't have much of an incentive. The Primeira Liga side have scored 11 goals in their last five games, so it could be a long night for the visitors.
Recommended bet: Sporting to win and under 2.5 goals at 5/2

CSKA Moscow vs Benfica

Benfica have failed to pick up a single point so far, whereas CSKA have been reasonably competitive. Conditions in Russia aren't going to be particularly appealing for the Portuguese outfit, who have scored just once in their four European games so far, letting in 10.
Recommended bet: CSKA Moscow to win at 11/10
