Results update – Week 37

Published by on September 19, 2017

This week’s results update……and a winning week overall for the portfolio of tipsters.

For the weekend, 13 bets in total for a 5-8 record and a small loss of 4.11 points.

It was fairly busy with bets across Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The winners came from a variety of leagues – the Championship, Ligue 2, La Liga 2 and Allsvenskan. We’re confident of a quick bounce as teams settle down as we get through the early rounds.

As always, plenty more to come this week so click here for more information on our Football package.

Horse Racing members had our 2nd best week, backing 6 winners from 11 bets which also included a successful place bet.

The week’s profit was 10.13 points and the winners:

Monday – Bonobo (3.25)
Tuesday – Equus Amadeus (3.50)
Thursday – Ashwass (2.31 after deductions)
Friday – Swing Our Sister (4.50) and The Grape Escape (10.00) and also again for the Place (3.25).

Interestingly, if we bet the whole week at Betfair SP we would have won an additional 2 points profit.

Our profit since July 1 now stands at 48.71 points with an awesome ROI of 23.2% and a strike-rate of 44%.

If you prefer to track our results at Betfair SP, we’re at 38.12 points profit @ 18.2% ROI – quite strong just the same.

Moving on to Golf A frustrating but interesting week, with a few players showing signs of form and others starting to regress after a long season.

Leishman won the BMW, and we have backed him a lot this year but this course is not really ideal for him. Justin Rose finished 2nd and we backed him each way so collected something from an event that split open at halfway. He got close on Sunday but Leishman never made too many mistakes. Rose can be followed now, as he has not played a huge amount this year and looks back to his best after some slight problems. The course did not suit most of the big names and the form will not transfer to next week. Molinari went close in the Top Continental European market but was second to Rahm.

This coming week we have the finale of the Fedex Cup and the Top 30 on the PGA Tour compete in the Tour Championship. We will be concentrating on that one, but also covering the Portugal Open and possibly one other event. Back on Wednesday with the preview and hopefully a change of luck and results.

In the NFL, we went 4-1 on the Sunday which was great and then followed that up in Monday Night Football cashing our bet on the Under to make it a 5-1 weekend in a great start to the season.

The winners:

Cleveland at Baltimore Under 40.5
Denver +2
San Francisco at Seattle Under 43
Green Bay @ Atlanta Over 56
Detroit @ NY Giants Under 42

Our only loser was the Under in the Cowboys @ Broncos game which went over the Total Points quite early with the Broncos really strong. It wasn’t a difficult watch considering how well the Broncos were playing and we had them with the +2 point start.

Our NFL analyst, Scott, has won 9 of the last 11 seasons and if you want to get involved in the NFL then you must check him out.
