Barcelona vs Juventus
Whatever happened in the last-16, Barca can’t fancy their chances of another comeback against Juventus. Overturning such a big deficit against the Old Lady is a very different proposition to doing it against PSG. That said, the Blaugrana can’t defend much worse than they did in Turin.
Juve are at 9/2 to win on the night, but with Paulo Dybala on fire, they might well do just that. Barca’s defeat in the first leg wasn’t an aberration; it came just days after losing to Malaga and they’ve let in seven goals in their last three games.
Dybala to score and the visitors to win in 90 minutes is at even better odds of 10/1. Those who fancy Barca will be backing one of MSN to score the opener, and surprisingly, Lionel Messi is at a decent price of 3/1.
Monaco vs Dortmund
Dortmund can hardly be blamed for suffering defeat in the first leg. It’s been a traumatic week or so for the Bundesliga outfit, who of course will be without Marc Bartra again. However, even aside from Monaco’s psychological edge, the Ligue 1 leaders should have a reasonable chance of progressing anyway.
The principality are continuously underrated this season. Spurs and Manchester City were both put to the sword, and they now have three away goals to take back to the Stade Louis II. Dortmund can’t be confident as Monaco have failed to score in just one game all season, and that’s in all competitions. That game came back in September against fellow shock title contenders Nice.
All that leaves Monaco at 19/10 to win on the night and as always, all eyes will be on Kylian Mbappe. The 18-year-old is at 4/1 to score and for Monaco to win, and if he does find the back of the net, it’ll be his fifth Champions League goal in just six appearances.
