Well – this isn’t the home leg that Arsenal were hoping for.
The Gunners planned to still be in with a chance going into the second fixture against Bayern Munich, but after being thrashed 5-1 by the Bundesliga giants, the tie is all but over.
The off-field drama surrounding Alexis Sanchez isn’t going to be the ideal preparation for the return at the Emirates either.
Arsenal are 2/1 to win on the night – on the bright side, they can’t perform much worse than they did in the Allianz Arena, but Munich aren’t likely to concede many either.
Bayern Munich to win by exactly one goal – 3/1.
This might seem a little pessimistic given how the Bavarians did in the first leg. Yet, they’re likely to take their foot off the gas a little here.
They’re not completely out of sight in the league, leading Leipzig by seven points, so they will want to focus their efforts on that competition instead of exerting too much effort against Arsenal.
Robert Lewandowski to score first – 3/1.
Big Lew was brilliant in the 5-1, and Arsenal’s defenders will not be looking forward to facing him again. The Poland international is second only to Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the race for the German Golden Boot.
